Men's Tennis Opens Dual Season at Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The men’s tennis team began its dual season with a tough match against Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan at the West Hills Athletic Club in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Detroit’s young team began its season against a tough Broncos squad falling 7-0. The Titans were unable to record a win in six singles’ competitions.
The Titan’s No. 3 sophomore pairing of Alex Latosinsky (Sarnia, ON/St. Christopher’s) and Pablo Nunez (San Jose, Costa Rica/Educacion Abierta) picked up an 8-5 victory over Kazuya Komada and Simon Blomberg of Western Michigan for the lone victory of the day for Detroit.
The next action for Detroit will be tomorrow evening as the Titans will face Illinois State University in Illinois and the action starting at 7:30 p.m.
